INTERESTED IN JOINING ROTC?

ADMISSION AND ELIGIBILITY

The requirements needed to join Det 850 are as follows:
* Must be a student at one of the following campuses: University of Utah, Weber State University, Westminster College, Salt Lake Community College, LDS Business College, or Park University, and enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.
* Must have at least five semesters remaining to obtain a bachelor’s degree or higher.
* Must complete and submit the New Student Orientation Packet to Cadre. Further information and instructions are included in the packet.

The requirements needed to remain eligible as a Det 850 cadet are as follows:
* Must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher and be on good academic standing.
* Must adhere to program policies as signed in the NSOP packet.
* The requirements needed to apply for Upper Division courses are as follows:
* Must score 75 or higher on Fitness Assessment and meet weight standards.
* Must pass DoDMERB medical examinations.
* Must meet minimum components on the AFOQT.
